Royal Jelly & Men’s health

Testosterone is a key male sex hormone that plays many important functions in the body, especially in men. This includes regulating or improving sex drive (libido), bone mass, muscle vs fat ratio, strength, spermatogenesis, and the production of red blood cells.

There are 2 main reasons why men have and need this hormone.

Firstly, Testosterone is essential for building bone mass, muscles mass, and strength. Not having enough of it can mean increased fatigue and a decreased ratio of muscle to fat. This is what makes it very important for men to have a sufficient levels of testosterone, regardless of your age. All men can benefit from increased testosterone. With an increase of this hormone you may feel stronger, not only in physical strength, but also structurally in bones, heart, brain, and the cardiovascular system.

Royal Jelly has been found to help considerably in increasing testosterone levels. Research also shows that men with higher total levels of testosterone may have reduced chances of acquiring Alzheimer’s Disease. A study conducted in 2010 found that participants who ingested Royal Jelly increased testosterone levels by 143 percent. This study was conducted on rabbits so holds great promise for humans.

Secondly, as testosterone circulates the body, a small amount of it gets converted by an enzyme called aromatase, to estradiol, which is the predominant form of the hormone, Oestrogen. Estradiol is vital for sexual function in men, hence the reason why, when men get older they produce less testosterone which in turn may reduce their Libido.

Another clinical study which found that men with previously low levels of testosterone, after being restored to normal were 24 percent less likely to have a heart attack and 36 percent less likely to have a stroke. This too holds great promise for mens health.
